Matthew John Russell
December 12, 2001

A dreary month of weeping,
Of cloud and fog and rain,
Is sorrowful December,
And all the winds complain.
For trees are bare and flowers are gone
And birds have hushed all song
And days are short and sunless,
And nights are dark and long
But let us wait in patience,
The days are swift to go,
And even sorrow does not stay,
Long on the earth below.
Some days must be for weeping,
But God and heaven remain,
And after nights of darkness,
The sun will shine again.

Don't Ever Let This Be Goodbye

The thought of us not having you
is something that cannot last.
Our love for you is unbelievable,
more than you could ever ask.
You took away our every fear,
and brought us only joy.
You would never bring us any harm,
just like a child's toy.
You've captured a piece of our hearts
that will forever have your name.
But for now we have to part,
for it will never be the same.
Our love will always reflect your soul,
like the sun reflects the moon.
Don't ever let this be goodbye,
let's just say we'll see you soon.

Only Time

Who can say where the road goes,
Where the day flows?
Only Time...
And who can say if your love grows,
As your heart chose?
Only Time...
Who can say why your heart sighs,
As your love flies?
Only Time...
And who can say why your heart cries,
When your love lies?
Only time...
Who can say when the roads meet,
That love might be,
In your heart.
And who can say when the day sleeps,
If the night keeps all your heart?
Night keeps all your heart...
Who can say if your love grows,
As your heart chose?
Only time...
And who can say where the road goes,
Where the day flows?
Only time...
Who knows?
Only time...
Who knows?
Only time...
